How it works
Three steps. No paperwork on your end until the win.
01 — Submit
Send your address.
We pull comparable sales, your county's assessment data, and the public record of your property.
02 — Analyze
We run the math.
If your assessment is more than 5% over market, you have a case. If not, we tell you straight — no charge, no follow-up sales pressure.
03 — Appeal
We file and represent.
We write the narrative, file with your county, and represent you through hearing if needed. You sign one document and wait for the result.
Pricing
40% of year-one savings. $0 if we don't win.
No upfront fees. No hourly rates. No retainer. If we don't reduce your tax bill, you don't pay anything.
Service area
Currently serving North Carolina.

Hero (with embedded form)
Container block (2-column on desktop, stacked on mobile)
Left column:
- Text block (eyebrow): "Property tax appeals" — Inter 600, 12px, uppercase, letter-spacing 0.16em, color
#7D8E61.
- Text block (headline): "Stop overpaying property tax." — Inter 800, 56–76px (use Carrd's responsive sizing), letter-spacing -0.04em, color
#1B2545.
- Text block (subhead): "We find what your property is actually worth, file the appeal, and only get paid if we save you money." — Inter 400, 18px, color
#5A6478.
- 3 mini text blocks (meta row): "No upfront fees", "40% of savings if we win", "$0 if we don't" — each with sage dot.
Right column (the form):
- Use Form block (Carrd Pro). Two fields: Address (text), Email (email). Submit button text: "Check if you're overpaying".
- Better path: Use Carrd's "Embed" block and paste your Tally form embed code instead — gives you file uploads and conditional logic Carrd Forms can't do.
- Form card styling: background
#FFFFFF, border 1px solid #E5E2DA, border-radius 6px, padding 36px, subtle shadow.

Footer
Container block (off-white, top border)
- Two columns: left = wordmark "acre" (28px Inter 800) + tagline "The smarter property tax appeal." (italic).
- Right = email link
[email protected] + copyright "© 2026 Acre. All rights reserved."
- Top border: 1px solid
#E5E2DA. Padding 64px top, 48px bottom.
Locked spec — paste these into Carrd
Colors & type, in one place.
Swap before you publish.
- Replace the placeholder form in the hero with your live Tally embed code. Tally → your form → Share → Embed → copy iframe → paste into Carrd's Embed block.
- Decide what happens after form submit. Recommended: Tally → Integrations → send notification to
[email protected], plus auto-reply to the submitter ("Got your address. We'll have an answer in 24 hours.").
- Connect
acretax.io as the custom domain via Carrd → Settings → Domain. Update DNS in Cloudflare.
- Add a privacy policy link to the footer once Termly draft is finalized. Even pre-LLC, NC requires this if you're collecting emails.
- Add lightweight analytics: Plausible ($9/mo, no cookies, GDPR-clean) or Carrd's built-in stats. Skip Google Analytics — overkill for a landing page.
- Add Open Graph meta tags for when the URL gets shared (Twitter, Slack, iMessage). Carrd Pro has a Meta section in Settings — fill in title, description, and a 1200×630 OG image (just a navy card with the wordmark).
- Test on mobile, desktop, and tablet. Test the form by submitting yourself.
- Once live: 301-redirect
fixpropertytax.com / lesspropertytax.com / lowerproptax.com to acretax.io (Cloudflare → page rules).
